Teaser trailers for The Simpsons movie have started appearing. Fox are quoting as 27 July 2007 as the arrival date. It seems very precise considering that it’s still well over a year away but I guess they like to be prepared.

Rosario Dawson, co-star of the first Sin City and indeed set to be the same in the sequel as commented on the progress of the sequel currently named “A Dame To Kill For.”

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Wuthering Heights which is unofficially set to star Angelina Jolie and ohnny Depp will be filmed in Yorkshire, England.

The paper reports “film scouts are understood to have been combing the Yorkshire area in the last 10 days to find the perfect film locations to film the wild, passionate scenes between two of the world’s hottest stars, who will play Heathcliff and Cathy.”

Milla Jovovich has officially signed on for the third installment in the Resident Evil saga which is to be known as Resident Evil: Extinction. To movie is due to start shooting soon and is expected out by the end of the year.

Is Futurama coming to the movies?

Rumour has it that a Futurama movies, or possibly Futurama movies (plural!) may be coming, most likely in a direct-to-DVD style release similar to the Family Guy movie brought out last year. Billy West and the rest of the cast as said to be recording new material for some kind of return of the show.

V for Vendetta coming to iMax

The new film starring Natalie Portman “V for Vendetta” will be released at iMax simultaneously with it’s general release at cinemas this spring.
